Mercedes-Benz Service A
The first standard service for your Mercedes-Benz, which alternates with Service B for the life of the car.
What is Service A?
Mercedes-Benz organizes routine maintenance into two alternating visits, Service A and Service B. Service A comes first, at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first. After that it returns about every 20,000 miles or two years, trading places with Service B.
The visit centers on fresh synthetic oil and a new filter, followed by a set of checks that keep small issues from becoming larger ones: fluid levels, tire pressure and the brake components. When the work is done, the technician resets the maintenance counter so your vehicle can track what comes next.
You do not need to keep count. The service indicator in your instrument cluster shows which service is due next and how much time or distance remains.
